	SOFTOLOGY	If you like Eye-Candy and enjoy creating eye-candy then you just have to download the most insane Fractal program ever. It's called 'Visions of Chaos' and it kicks-ass. It's the world of fractals and other wonderful toys made by 0's and 1's. To see some of my VOC graphics click here.
	JACO PASTORIUS	Being a bassist, I was totally unprepared the first time I heard Jaco on bass. The record was 'Heavy Weather' by Weather Report, and it blew me apart. View my 'tribute' page to Jaco. You can then jump to the official Jaco Pastorius site from there.
	CREAM 2005	What can I say about the first power trio. Wish I had been there! Special thanks to Matt for the pic - it's so good that these three musical giants got back together again for a few concerts. Get the DVD - it's great.
	JEFF BECK	How does he do it!? How can he play that way?...well that's Beck. Seen him twice in two years. Hope we do not have to wait another 25 years until he comes to our shores again. Great concerts.
	AL DI MEOLA	There's heaps of great guitarists that have been, are, and will be but to me Al just makes the music sound so good. An extraordinary guitarist and composer that covers all types of music ranging from Jazz-Fusion-latin-world etc.
	STEVE HUNTER	...And there's also a heap of great bassist's out there in the world today who know all the licks, chops etc and Steve here has all that - but he also has tons of 'Feel' in his playing and you can sense it when you see this guy on stage. A brilliant bassist and composer who has paid his dues with some top-name muso's.
	STING	Always enjoyed the music of Sting. From his days with the 'Police' when he wrote some 'commercial' gems and then to his solo albums, blending a rich mixture of pop-jazz. A great singer, muso and composer.
	JAZZGROOVE	Where Jazz meets everything else. Sydney based Jazz scene.
	DAVE WECKL	Mr. Orchestra of Drums I call Mr. Dave Weckl. Absolutely brilliant drummer. It's now three times that I have seen his band (Once with the Mike Stern band) and every concert had been mind-boggling. I promise never to tell 'drummer' jokes any more ;) Also check out Dave's long-time partner in groove, bassist Tom Kennedy, who floored me with his incredible technique and playing style.
	JOHN MCLAUGHLIN	I always considered this genius about ten years ahead of everybody else when it came to creating and playing music on the guitar. One of the greatest.
	TOMMY EMMANUEL	First time I saw Tommy Emmanuel was at the Musician's club way back last century and he was burning. One of Aussie's great guitar heroes.
	JAMES MULLER	....And the new kid on the block - Brilliant guitarist that fits in all jazz modes. From 'Killer' to 'Laid back' James floors it. Do yourself a favour and catch him on the musical circuit if u can.
	ERIC CLAPTON	Wish I was a legend in my own lifetime! This guy just seems to be getting better and better every time I see him in concerts (DVD / TV)....and he was brilliant decades ago!
	MIKE STERN	Got introduced to the music of Mike Stern when I went to see him at the Basement (Jazz Venue in Sydney, Australia) with Dave Weckl on drums a few years back.
	STANLEY CLARKE	'Stan the Man' - Another brilliant bassist who was a driving force with Chick Corea in the 'Return To Forever' days. If you do not have his 'School Days' album do yourself a favour and get it.
	ROY ORBISON	After watching the 'Black & White Night' on DVD and listening to the voice and the original innovative songs such as "In Dreams, Running Scared, Crying" and heaps of others I realized what a genius the 'Big O' was - but I always knew that anyhow.
	STANLEY KUBRICK	One of my favorite directors - made some classics, not too many, but classics....and it seems that every generation has a Dr. Strangelove - or check out the full movie script from here.
	APOD	Astronomy Picture of the Day. If you still think that the world is flat go to this site. Absolutely insane. Plus read this little 'passage' from Carl Sagan.
